This is my personal blog. I’m a U.S. Army veteran and currently work in Information Technology. I have a family, including three kids who are currently attending three different schools from middle school to college. My opinions are generally well thought out, though I have been known to react to some things a bit quicker than I probably should. My beliefs are generally a bit on the libertarian side of conservative. My policy roll models are Ronald Reagan and Newt Gingrich. More than anything else, I believe in freedom as guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution.

I’m not the most skilled wordsmith on the web, and I don’t pretend to be a genius, but I do know one when I see one. The general tenets of my political beliefs are simple:

1. Government is at best a necessary evil and as such should be limited only to that which is absolutely necessary.
2. I hold my freedom, and that of my family and countrymen, dear and I am willing to die for it. I am also willing to kill for it.
3. The constitution is the absolute law of the land. I will defer to it in all relevant matters.
4. The United States of America is a free and sovereign nation and will become otherwise over my dead body.
5. Market capitalism works better than any other economic model ever conceived or attempted.

I can be a real hard ass sometimes and I make no apology for it. I have no patience for stupidity or stupid policies. I also do not have a lot of patience with any form of socialism or the people who espouse it. I also tend to react strongly to Nazis, fascists, communists and most other liberals. Other than that, I get along with just about everyone.
