Forced Reboot

A couple of days ago we had a power problem that caused, for some reason I can’t divine, the RAID array in my server to completely and irrevocably die a horrible and final death. I wasn’t able to recover any of the files or data on the array at all. So much for “fault tolerance.” Now I’m having to go back to the beginning, or much nearer to the beginning that I’d like, on pretty much everything. Gee, a fresh start, again. That’s just what I need. Right!
