Know Thy Enemy

As Americans it is incumbent upon all of us to know who the enemy is. This can be tricky, as lately the most dangerous enemies to our freedoms are not always burning our flag and shouting “death to America” in some foreign capital. Some of them simply keep to themselves as much as possible while going about their daily business of undermining everything America stands for from within.

Not all our enemies are found in Teheran, Waziristan, Pyong Yang, Caracas or Moscow. Some of the most dangerous can be found in places like Chicago. Take Bill Ayers for instance. Here’s a guy who admittedly committed violent terrorist acts against the United States. Having gotten away with that, he began working the system to create as much trouble as possible. What kind of trouble? He raises and spends millions of dollars to teach radical socialism to public school students in lieu of math, science, history and English. Isn’t that special? Mr. Ayers is the enemy of all Americans, and one of his principal lackeys could become the next President of the United States.

Some of our enemies are organizations. Take ACORN for instance. An association of radical socialists, ACORN grew out of the “Great Society” disaster started by President Johnson. Their original goal was to over load the new welfare system with enough people to bring down capitalism in America. They’ve since found more interesting, and destructive ways to achieve their goals. They played a central roll by forcing, through intimidation, banks to lend to unworthy borrowers. This was directly responsible for the credit crunch and mortgage disaster. Now they’ve got their hands in the bailout pie and I fear the results will be catastrophic. ACORN and groups like it are enemies of all Americans, and one of the people instrumental in training and leading them in their practice of thug politics could become the next President of the United States.

There are other enemies as well. Some collect right here on our shores and openly call for the downfall of our nation. Some even call for the downfall of civilization itself. It’s amazing how many nations out there, through their leaders, call for dragging America down to their socioeconomic level because they’re too lazy to lift themselves up, even with our help! To hell with them. If they want to be a bunch of second rate socialist countries I say let them. The only problem I see is the very vocal minority in this country who agree with these outsiders, and their “American” standard bearer who may very well become the next President of the United States.

One of the negative things about being American is that wherever you go, even here at home, enemies abound. Our freedom is forever in peril. Right now the greatest danger isn’t from some invading army or radical terrorists. Our greatest threat right now is from within. Radical socialists have infiltrated our education establishments, our financial establishments and our government at all levels. Even the press is involved. Now one of them will do anything to become President of the United States.

Our liberty is directly at stake in this election. The threats to it are direct and immediate. I hope for the best, but prepare for the worst and I advise all freedom loving Americans to do the same.

Am I calling for rebellion? No. At least not now, but as an American it is my right to set the government strait by whatever means necessary when they stray from standing for and defending liberty. So what is an American? I think it can be summed up with another quote from the days of the revolution. It is in my opinion the quintessential definition of an American:
