Charlie and Sarah

Well, I hate to admit it, but I knew some of the answers she didn’t seem to have a full grasp of in that first exchange. For instance, the Bush Doctrine. Never-the-less, I think Charlie Gibson’s demeanor in the whole thing was despicable. He seemed dismissive and determined to be unimpressed no matter what. Afterward he had a smugness about him that seemed to me to be an indication that he believed he had accomplished his mission, that is, to make her look bad in an effort to quell the Palin Affect. Sorry Charlie, but I don’t think you quite pulled it off. Maybe a ding, but nothing that won’t be forgotten or overshadowed by Monday.

The second segment was taken up entirely by Sarah’s answer to an asinine question. Looks like the first ding in Charlies ding. This might not even last until Monday. Still, we’ll have to wait and see what happens tonight on Niteline and again tomorrow. Meanwhile, check out Michelle Malkin on the subject, she’s dead on as usual.
